Thomas Franklin Woodruff

Thomas Franklin Woodruff, 76, of Dobson, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at his home. Born June 8, 1948, in Surry County to the late Ambrose P. and Virginia B. Harrell Woodruff. Tom was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed gardening, canning, hunting and working on his farm. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Jayne Denise Bledsoe; daughters and son-in-law, Jeni Woodruff O’Neal and Brian, Tonya Woodruff Oakley, and Katherine Franklin “Frankye” Woodruff; grandchildren, Seth Beacham, Sydney Brown and Mitchell, Max Oakley, Katie O’Neal, and Lily O’Neal; brother, Weldon Woodruff, and sister, Pence Wilmoth. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by father-in-law, Lonnie W. Bledsoe; and brother-in-law, Steve Wilmoth. The family would like to give a special thank you to Donna Keck, Hospice Nurse, for all the care, kindness and support during this journey. A private graveside memorial will be held in honor the life of Tom Woodruff at Salem Fork Christian Church Cemetery with Pastor Cory Honeycutt officiating. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson, NC is serving the Woodruff family.
