Tiffany Nicole Burkhart Anderson

Mrs. Tiffany Nicole Burkhart Anderson, 36, of Mount Airy, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. Mrs. Anderson was born January 24, 1988, in Surry County, the daughter of Gary Austin and Glinda Irene Owens Burkhart. Tiffany grew up in Ararat, VA, and graduated from Patrick County High School in 2006. She worked as a residential support worker at Hope Valley Rehabilitation Center. She is survived by her husband, Tyler James Anderson; two daughters, Alyssia Jane Register and Emily Jean Register; her parents, Gary Austin and Glinda Irene Owens Burkhart; a sister and brother-in-law, Amanda and Jesse Hamm; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Austin and Stephanie Burkhart, Brandon and Ashley Tate, and Bradley and Kristen Tate; her maternal grandmother, Glenda Owens; her maternal grandmother, Dema Pennington; her paternal grandfather, F.A. Burkhart; her maternal great-grandmother, Louise Smith; her mother-in-law, Renae Anderson; her father-in-law and his wife, Barry James and Tina Anderson; Tyler’s paternal grandparents, Donald and Patricia Anderson; an aunt, Sonia Anderson; and her special friends, Wendy and Rick Manring. Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Bernie Owens; her paternal grandmother, Betty Burkhart; and an aunt, Sherry Owens. The funeral service will be held Monday, July 29, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Slate Mountain Baptist Church, with the Rev. Buford E. Jessup officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the church. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
