Timmy Wayne Ayers

Mr. Timmy Wayne Ayers, 40, of Mt. Airy, passed away unexpectedly at his home, Wednesday, February 1, 2023.  He was born in Forsyth County, May  28, 1982, to Ellis Junior and Linda Sue Smith Ayers.  Timmy was a caring husband, father, son, brother, and friend.  He cherished his family and friends and enjoyed life to its fullest.  Timmy had a love for fast cars, trucks, motorcycles, and racing. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Ellis and Linda Ayers; his wife, Rynda Canter Ayers; his son, Ashton Wayne Ayers; sisters and a brother-in-law, Gloria Ann Smith, and Ann Ayers Slate and Dusty; sisters-in-law, Amanda Johnson and husband, Dewayne, Ericka Canter, Corrah Walker; brothers-in-law, Rodney Canter, James Walker, and William Walker; nieces and nephews, that he loved dearly, Paxton and Phinn Slate, Elisha Harris, Vanessa Luna, Anthony Smith, Kobey, Conner, and Carson Johnson, Vanyssah and Natalie Cook, and Jocelin Canter.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy with Pastor Eric Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at The People’s Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
