Timothy Alan Draughn

Mr. Timothy Alan Draughn, age 62, of Dobson, NC passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022, in Guilford County at Moses Cone Hospital.  He was born in Adams County Illinois, to the late Robert William Draughn and the late Audrey Alice Fortner Draughn.  He was a member of Dobson United Methodist Church and was a disabled worker in Construction.  Surviving is his children Jessica Lyn Herbel; Timothy Michael Draughn; Audrey Ann Draughn; Landon Alan Draughn; Madelyn Jane “Cake” Draughn; mother of his older children, Kathy L. Smith; mother of his younger children Shianna Bowling; Sisters Patty Draughn; Jan Lancaster; Cheryl Draughn; brother and sister-in-law, Dewey and Sheila Draughn; several nieces and nephews; neighbors and friends.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Dobson United Methodist Church, with cremation to follow.  Rev. Lonnie Kendall conduct the service, with the help of Rev. Harry Sammons providing music.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.  Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the family.  There will be no services held at the funeral home.
