Timothy Scott Jenkins

Mr. Timothy “Timmy” Scott Jenkins, age 58 of Mount Airy, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home.  Mr. Jenkins was born on January 25, 1964, in Forsyth County to the late Johnny Edgar Jenkins, Sr. and Cora Louise Felts Jenkins.  Timothy was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend.  He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.  Left to cherish his memories are his two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy Felts Edwards and Bill, Anita Jenkins Paige and Tony; one brother, Billy Gray Jenkins; two nephews, Cody Herrin, and Tyler Herrin.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Edgar “Eddie” Jenkins, Jr.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 2:00 pm at The Peoples Church Cemetery with Rev. Dale Hawks officiating.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 12:30 until 1:30 at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  Timothy’s favor bible scripture was Hebrews 13:5 “I will never leave you nor forsake you”.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society North Carolina, PO Box 11796, Charlotte, North Carolina 28220.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
