Mr. Timothy Glen Reece, age 66, of State Road, passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born May 2, 1954 in Haywood County to the late Glen Lindsey Reece and the late Margie Gearldine Inman Beck. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step dad, John Beck; and his granddaughter, Taylor Chipman. Mr. Reece is survived by his loving wife, Robin Ann Hinson Reece; daughters, Melissa Charlene Chipman and Jennifer Robin Reece; sons and daughter-in-law, Timothy Lee Brooks, Timothy Glen Reece Jr, Glenn Kelly Reece and Emily and Vincent Gerald Reece; grandchildren Hannah Whitner, Kayli Brooks, Katlyn Brooks, Timothy Brooks, Jr., Marissa Reece, Lucas Reece, Ethan A. Chipman, Belle Reece, Maggie Reece, Josie Reece, Gracie Ann Reece, Daphne Clair Reece, Vincent Gerald “Vinny” Reece Jr., Sawyer Alan Reece and Emerson Rae Reece; great grandchild, Alexus Faye Chipman; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sherry Beck, Peggy and Eddie Parker, Judy and Larry Cribb, Sheila “Levada” and Evan Beaver, Rebecca Denise Beck and Albert Walker; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Theresa Reece, Mark and Teresa Reece, Michael “Buddy and Dana Reece, Melvin Beck and David and Sandy Beck; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Reece dearly loved his family, fishing, and his automobiles. Visitation will be Monday, March 1, 2021 from 5-8 P.M. at Welcome Valley Baptist Church. Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the church with Reverend Bill Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Reece Family.
