Timothy "Tim" Gray Simpson

Mr. Timothy "Tim" Gray Simpson Age 68 of 322 Arless McCraw Lane. Mt. Airy, husband of Mrs. Gerlteen McCraw Simpson passed away Wednesday January 3, 2007 at the Northern Hospital of Surry County in Mt. Airy. Mr. Simpson was born July 18, 1938 in Wake County to the late Richard and Dorothy Vernon Simpson, he was part owner and operator of T.G. Simpson Plumbing and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Gerlteen McCraw Simpson of the home, one daughter and son-in-law Pam and Kenneth Lawson of Mt. Airy, Two sons and daughter-in-law Mitchell Simpson of Charlotte and Todd and Kathy Simpson of Mt. Airy, three grandchildren Drew Simpson, Logan Simpson and Paige Simpson, one sister and brother-in-law Conchita and Jerrold Bowman of Mt. Airy, a sister-in-law Earlene Smith and niece and nephews Nikki Montgomery, John Bowman, Tom Bowman. In addition to his parents Mr. Simpson was preceded in death by a grandson Jacob Simpson. Funeral services will be held Friday January 5, 2007 at 3:30 PM at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Dwight Sechrist and Rev. John Huffman with burial to follow in the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night 7 to 9 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC.
