Mr. Timothy Brian Whitt, age 63, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025, at the SECU Hospice Care Center in Yadkinville, NC. He was born April 20, 1962, to Blanche Mae Cave Whitt and the late Elmer Lee Whitt. In addition to his mother, left to cherish his memories are his brother Steven Whitt and special friend Cindy Smith. He was also proceeded in death by his grandparents, Murphy and Mary Lynch Whitt, and Willie G and Dessie Jennings Cave; his great uncle, Denny Jennings; and several aunts and uncles. Tim was a graduate of Surry Central High School and earned his master’s degree from Gardner Webb University. He was a teacher for over 30 years primarily in Forsyth County and was well known for his cooking abilities. A service will be held Monday, April 28, 2025, at 2 PM in the Moody-Davis Chapel with Reverend Sammy Lawson officiating. A graveside will follow at New Life Baptist Church Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials can be made to Mountain Valley Hospice at P.O. Box 325, Dobson, NC 27017. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson will be serving the Whitt family.
