Tommy Lowe

Mr. Thomas “Tommy” Lee Lowe, age 65, of Pilot Mountain, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Tommy was born in Surry County on March 29, 1952 to the late James Crissie Lowe, Sr. and Annie Lee Fowler Lowe. Mr. Lowe was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed. Mr. Lowe was the Operations Manager for Petroleum Transport Company and had been a dedicated employee for over 30 years. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 26 years, Brenda Johnson Lowe; two daughters and a son-in-law, Kim Bolin and Alan, Kristy Johnson, two step-daughters, Daphne Wright and husband Tony, and Tammy Hicks Hodges; a step-son, Timothy Kirkman; five grandchildren, Savanna Lowe, Hannah Blythe, Casey Wright, Chase Wright, and Tristan Kirkman; a brother and sister-in-law, Dusty and Janie Lowe; several nieces and nephews; his PTC family; and many friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lowe was preceded in death by three brothers, Wade Lowe, James Crissie Lowe, Jr., and Daniel Craig “Dute” Lowe. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy at 2:00 PM with Pastor Tim Morrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Rescue Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday two hours prior to the service. The family would like to express their gratitude for all of the thoughts and prayers from all of Tommy’s family and friends during his illness.
