Tony Joe Chrissman

Mr. Tony Joe Chrissman, 59, of 2004 Metacomet Way, Raleigh, passed away Monday, June 3, 2013, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mr. Chrissman was born February 23, 1954, in Surry County, the son of the late Joseph Lee and Helen York Chrissman. Mr. Chrissman worked at Bank of America in Mount Airy and Greensboro for many years and was currently working for Wake Med Property Management in Raleigh. Surviving are his aunt, Coble York of Dobson; his cousins, Debbie Eldridge of Dobson and Nicky York and his wife, Debbie, of Mount Airy; and three nieces, Laura Shoemaker of Boone, Leah Taylor and her husband, Jim, of Statesville, and Leslie York Mills of Mount Airy. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 7, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Oakdale Cemetery in Mount Airy with Rev. Richard Loman officiating. Tony's family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy on Friday from 9:30 AM until the time of the graveside service.
