Tony Howard Mabe

Mr. Tony Howard Mabe, age 74, of Dobson, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born August 4, 1947 in Surry County to the late Vera Lucille Hemmings Mabe and the late Virgil Howard Mabe. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter and her fiancé, Taryn Mabe Campbell and John Smith; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Hope Mabe and Chris and Jessica Mabe; grandson, wife, and great-grandchild: Damon, Melissa, and Naomi Mabe; grandchildren, Jada Mabe, Kristian Mabe, Charity Mabe, Isaac Mabe, Harrison Miller, Eli Miller, Noah Campbell and Natalyn Freeman. Tony worked diligently for forty years at Chatham Manufacturing. He was a devoted son and father. His favorite activities included fishing with his children, baseball, coin collecting, and acquiring/selling antiques. Visitation will be Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 9:00-10:00 AM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. Services will begin at 10:00 AM in the Moody-Davis Chapel with Reverend James Richard Page II officiating. Burial will be in the Dobson City Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson NC 27017
