Tony Lynn Stanley

Mr. Tony Lynn Stanley, 66 of Dobson, passed away at home on Saturday, December 28, 2024. Mr. Stanley was born on April 22, 1958 in Yadkin County to Shirley and Charles Stanley. Tony co-owned Rugged Metal Designs in Dobson. Over the course of his life, he was also an avid hunter, bass fisherman, and flew model RC planes. 

Tony was a humble man of high integrity and cherished his role of husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend.

Mr. Stanley is survived by his caring and loving wife of 22 years, Abby Whitaker Stanley; daughters Heather Riffle (Andy) and Courtney Martin (TJ); grandson Cooper Stanley; parents, Shirley and Charles Stanley; brother, Mitch Stanley (Amy); sister, Michele Miller (Lincoln); nieces and nephews, Katie Fields (Brayton), Carson Stanley, Blake Stanley, Chase Stanley, Riley Hutchens (Casey), Luke Miller; and his precious and faithful dog, Benny.

Mr. Stanley was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Stanley; brother, Todd Stanley; mother-in-law, Marie Willis; and a special friend and business partner Gary Wilmoth. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, January 1 at 2:00 PM  in the Moody-Davis Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 on Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
