Tony Howard Stoltz

Mr. Tony Howard Stoltz, 67, of Mount Airy, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023, at his home.  He was born February 3, 1956, in Forsyth County, to Glenna Shatley Stoltz and the late James Howard Stoltz.  Mr. Stoltz retired from Siemens Westinghouse Corporation after 40 years of service.  He was a former volunteer fireman at Triangle Fire Department in Forsyth County.  He was an amateur race car driver at Bowman Gray Stadium and a lifelong NASCAR fan.  Mr. Stoltz was a member First Presbyterian Church of Mount Airy.  He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Debra Midkiff Stoltz; his children, Amy Pait (Matthew) and Christopher Stoltz (Maya); his grandchildren, Archer Stoltz, Teagan Stoltz, and Cameron Pait; his mother, Glenna Shatley Stoltz; his sister, Donna Taylor (Joe); his brother, Randy Stoltz; and numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.  A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Dr. Fritz Ritsch officiating.  The family will visit with friends at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to the service.  A private interment will be held at Oakdale Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, P.O.
