Tonya Lynn Martin Sechrist

Mrs. Tonya Lynn Martin Sechrist, 36, of 115 Country Meadow Lane, Pilot Mountain, passed away Saturday evening, October 1, 2011, at her home. Mrs. Sechrist was born December 25, 1974, in Forsyth County, to Betty Brooks Martin and the late Ralph William Martin. Tonya was formerly employed at Creekside Cinemas and was a member of Laurel Bluff Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Terry William Sechrist of the home; her mother, Betty Brooks Martin of Mount Airy; a sister, Melissa Blakely and her fiancé, Jeff Monday, of King; a brother, Jeff Martin of Mount Airy and his fiancée, Rebecca Ridenhour, of Boonville; three nieces, Kristian Blakely, Julie Blakely, and Brittany Martin and her fiancée, Brandon Wolfé; a nephew, Crue Martin; and her mother-in-law, Lola Marie Sechrist of Lowgap. In addition to her father, Mrs. Sechrist was preceded in death by a sister, Anita Martin; a brother, Sgt. Gregory Keith Martin; and her father-in-law, Fred Sechrist. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at 2:00 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens, with the Rev. James Odum and the Rev. Doug Butcher officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 until 1:30 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy, and other times at the home of Betty Brooks Martin, 167 Marvin Lane, Mount Airy.
