Tracie Lynn Gibbons Reece

Ms. Tracie Lynn Gibbons Reece, 52, of Mocksville, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023, at her home in Mocksville.  She was born in Surry County on July 2, 1970, to Christine “Chris” Culler Bowman and the late Larry Alton Gibbons.  Ms. Reece worked for Plant Partners and was of the Baptist faith.  Tracie was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt who will be dearly missed.  In addition to her mother Ms. Reece is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Kendel and Antonio Heraldo; niece and nephews, Dakota Cruz, Micaela Cruz, Jonathon Heraldo.  In addition to her father, Ms. Reece was preceded in death by her stepfather, Mitchell Gene Bowman; brothers, Kevin Bowman, Larry Alan Gibbons, and Gary Lee Gibbons; a niece Erika Evans.  A graveside service will be held Monday, January 16, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Culler family Cemetery with the Rev. Glen Boyd officiating.  There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home.  Moody Funeral Services in Mt. Airy is serving the Reece family.
