Travis Daniel Glad

         Mr. Travis Daniel Glad, age 27 of Stuart, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at his home.  He was born in Charlotte, NC on January 30, 1993.  Travis was fascinated with anything mechanical and loved astronomy.  He loved to build engines striving to make the next one better than the last.  At night, he would spend many hours with his telescope photographing planets, stars, and moons.  He was employed with Glad Precision Machine.

Surviving are his dad and stepmother, Daniel Glad and Sandra S. Glad of Stuart, Virginia; his mother and stepfather, Donna McCarthy Burke and Michael Burke of Sarasota, Florida; two brothers, Jeffrey Glad and wife, Jocelyn of Seattle, Washington, Matthew Glad and wife, Jessica of Martinsville, Virginia; one sister Jessica Cote and husband, James of Orlando, Florida; one niece, Charlotte Cote; his maternal grandparents, Maurice and Karen McCarthy of Sarasota, Florida; paternal grandparents, Tony and Irene Glad of Manchester, New Jersey; several cousins and many friends.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 1:00 PM in Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Richard Dodson officiating.  Friends may stop by Moody Funeral Home in Stuart on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. to pay their final respects.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
