Trenton Cash Edmonds

Master Trenton Cash Edmonds age 8 of Sophia, NC, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Novant Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC. He was born June 15, 2014, in Guilford County, NC to Patrick Wayne Edmonds and Danielle Mentel. He was a second-grade student at New Market Elementary School. To know Trenton was to love him. His smile was contagious and his laugh angelic. He was never afraid to be himself . He was a good friend and protective brother no matter how small he was. Trenton was a New Market Bobcat and loved doing crafts and playing with his friends. He loved family movie night and any other opportunity we had to spend time together. Surviving are his father and stepmother, Patrick W. and Callie Haven Edmonds, his mother, Danielle Mentel, two sisters, Carly Grace Edmonds and Raelynn Faith Ramsey, a baby brother Declyn Bolen; grandparents, Danny and Mary Overby, Spencer and Michelle Church, and Lisa Summey, a great grandmother, Patricia Church, a special aunts and uncles, Debbie Overby, Brandon and DeAnna Church, Josh and Kim Edmonds, and Rebeckah and Jacob Norris. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Bannertown Baptist Church in Mt. Airy, NC. Rev. Mickey Cogdill will conduct the service. The family will receive friends 11:00 AM, Saturday until time for the service at the church. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro, NC.
