Treva Delene Hughes Morrison Phillips

         Treva Delene Hughes Morrison Phillips, age 76 of Stuart, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart.  She was born in Washington, DC to the late Patrick Jewell Hughes, Sr. and Monnie Delene Pendleton Hughes.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Daniel “J.D.” Phillips.  She attended Grace Baptist Church and was Grammy to her grandchildren, two of which she raised, Emma and Jade.  She had a love for flowers and the woods, and was a talented artist  who enjoyed drawing, painting and ceramics.  She also was a great seamstress.

          Treva is survived by three daughters, Michelle Delene Morrison, Heather Dawn Morrison Spence (Eddie) and Rebecca Diane Phillips; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three siblings, Patrick Hughes, Jr., Beverly Siler and Kenneth Hughes; and many nieces and nephews.
