Troy H. McMillian, Sr

Mr. Troy H. McMillian, Sr. age 80 of 8166 Wards Gap Road, Cana, VA, husband of Mrs. Virginia Haynes McMillian went home to be with the Lord Saturday night, February, 17, 2007. He was born September 4, 1926 in Carroll County to the late Christopher and Myrtle Ada Utt McMillian. He was a member of Skyline Independent Baptist Church where he served as deacon. Mr. McMillian retired from Proctor Silex and was a retired orchardist. Surviving are, his wife of 59 years, Virginia Haynes McMillian of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Faye and Rev. Roy Quesenberry, Judy and Bro. Garry Allen; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Troy H. McMillian, Jr and wife Sheryl and Ricky McMillian all of Cana; six grandchildren and spouses, Karen and Kevin Farmer, Kristi and Greg Bunn, Scotty and Sarah Allen, Tangie and Freddy Badgett, Tonya and Jason Marshall, Tasha McMillian and four great grandchildren and expectation of twins. In addition to his parents, Mr. McMillian was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeffery Dale Quesenberry; a sister, Ernie McMillian and a twin brother, Foy H. McMillian. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Skyline Independent Baptist Church conducted by Bro. Don Collins, Rev. Rayton Puckett, Rev. James Orange and Bro. Garry Allen. Burial will follow in the Solid Rock Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at Skyline Independent Baptist Church in Fancy Gap VA where his body will remain until the service.
