Tyler Hurley Hiatt

Tyler Hurley Hiatt, age 23 of Mt. Airy, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Baptist Hospital. Tyler was born in Surry County on November 14, 1992 to Michael Hiatt and Rachel “Kathy” Morton. In addition to his parents, Tyler leaves to cherish his memory a half-brother, Joseph Boyles; his grandparents, Hurley and Diane Morton, and Marguerite and Greg Parries, and a great grandmother, Lydia Towe. Tyler was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Brenda McMillian and a paternal grandfather, McElroy Hiatt. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Tony White. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
