Vaudy J Edwards

Mr. Vaudy J. Edwards, 72, of Cana, VA passed away at his home Tuesday, April24, 2018.  He was born in Carroll County, VA August 15, 1945 to the late Clark and Bertha Akers Edwards.  Mr. Edwards is survived by a son Joseph Edwards; daughter, Toni Edwards; grandsons, Mitchell Edwards, Morgan Edwards, Chris Edwards, and Cody Edwards; great-grandchildren, Aden Edwards, Jacob Edwards, and Lyla Edwards; a sister, Brenda Gould; and brothers, Uless (Ruthie) Edwards and Benny Edwards; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by his wife, Lelia Dean Edwards; sisters, Dot Schurter, and Mazie Berrier; and brothers, Charles and Willie Edwards.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Rocky Ford Christian Church with Pastor Eddie Sawyers officiating.
