Vergie Inez Hunter Love

Mrs. Vergie Inez Hunter Love, 87, of Mount Airy, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2007. Mrs. Love was born March 27, 1919, in Surry County, to the late John Edgar and Rosa Lee Adams Hunter. She was a homemaker and a member of Indian Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Brent Crissman of Siloam and Charlene and Bobby Swaim of Mount Airy; four grandchildren and spouses, Chad Swaim of Charlotte, Beth and Daniel McCraw of Pinnacle, Amy and Sean Shirley of Kernersville, and Susan Crissman of Pilot Mountain; and three great grandchildren, Evan Allen, Ally McCraw, and Kate McCraw. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Love was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Evan Love; three sisters, Sally Love, Rena Eaton, and Artie Jester; and five brothers, Howard Hunter, Harvey Hunter, Valna Hunter, Gene Hunter, and Mondell Hunter. The funeral service will be held Monday, March 12, 2007, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Tommy Floyd and the Rev. Bill Faw. Burial will follow in the Indian Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
