Verlin Hill Stanley

Mr. Verlin Hill Stanley, age 72, passed away on December 31, 2021.  He was born to the late John Grover and Frances Nervia Stanley.  Verlin was an excellent carpenter, painter, and rock layer.  He proudly served our county in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Vet.  He is survived by a daughter, Karissa Stanley; brothers and sister-in-law, John Grover Stanley Jr, James Michael Stanley, Tony Stanley (Diane) as well as several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Stanley was preceded in death by a sister, Gaynell Stanley Easton.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 11am at Bear Creek Baptist Church, 724 Bear Creek Church Rd, Dobson, NC 27017.  Memorial donations may be made to the church in honor of Mr. Stanley.
