Vickie Denise Shelton

Ms. Vickie Denise Arnder Shelton, 62, of Mount Airy, passed away Saturday afternoon, March 14, 2020, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Ms. Shelton was born May 6, 1957, in Surry County, the daughter of the late Luther and Wilma Dalton Arnder.  Vickie worked at Renfro Corporation for many years.  She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Wendy and Troy Moser of State Road and Tisha Gentry of Lowgap; a son, Jackie Lundy, Jr. of State Road; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Pam and Jerry Snow and Sandra and Mike Nester, all of Mount Airy, and Linda and Billy Crouse of Dobson; a brother, Michael Arnder of Mount Airy; and her special friends, Misty Cornell, Becky Gammons, and Sue Montgomery, all of Mount Airy.  In addition to her parents, Ms. Shelton was preceded in death by a brother, Kenny Arnder.  Due to the limitations of numbers for public gatherings at this time, a memorial service will be held at a later date.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
