Vicky Lynn (Marshall) Cockerham

Mrs. Vicky Lynn Marshall Cockerham, age 64, of Mount Airy passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at her home.  Mrs. Cockerham was born January 3, 1959, in Surry County, North Carolina to Mildred Morris Marshall and the late Leonard Carl Marshall.  Vicky was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  Surviving are her son Joshua Daniel Cockerham; a brother and sister-in-law, Leonard Carl Marshall, Jr. and Tondreia; and a niece, Ashley Marshall, and two nephews, Dusty Marshall, Rusty Marshall.  In addition to her father, Mrs. Cockerham was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Dean Cockerham.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Mount Airy with Rev. Doug Cockerham officiating.  Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Mount Airy, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
