Vicky Williams

Ms. Vicky Williams, age 70, of Mount Airy, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 2, 2023, at her home. She was born in Surry County, October 11, 1952, the daughter of Dolly Flippin Williams and the late Glenn Williams. She was a graduate of East Surry High School and Guilford Technical Community College . Vicky retired from working as a dental hygienist and at Belk Stores in Mount Airy, NC. She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. Surviving is her mother, Dolly Flippin Williams and her brother, Ricky Williams and partner Tim Jones; aunts, Mary Jane Griffith and Carolyn Flippin; many cousins, and her Highland Park Baptist Church family. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday June 9, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Highland Park Baptist Church in Mount Airy with Dr. Darrell Tate and  Rev. Jim Richland officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 12:30-2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Highland Park Baptist Church, 1247 Park Drive, Mount Airy, NC 27030, or to Surry Animal Rescue, 1106 S. South Street, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
