Vince France

Mr. Vincent “Vince” Keith France, 58, of Mount Airy, passed away at 3:16 AM on Monday morning, July 13, 2020, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  Mr. France was born in Surry County on November 12, 1961 to the late Lanford “Lefty” Elwood France and Brenda Sue Lowe France.  Mr. France was a loving family man and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.  Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 40 years, Kim Marsh France, two sons and daughters-in-law, Jason France and wife Hannah France, and Chad France and wife Kim Chan-France; grandchildren Surry Ann Chan-France, Annabel Chan-West, and Kylee Chan-West; a sister, Lisa Creed; a brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Tammi France; a niece, Chelsea Creed; a great nephew, Bryer Creed; a special uncle, Gurnie France and Gail Sturgill; and by many many friends.  In addition to his parents, Mr. France was preceded in death by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Polly Hamlin Marsh and Wayne Marsh.  A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Oak Ridge Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Buster Sechrist and Rev. Teddy Ray Hiatt.  There will be no formal visitation for Mr. France at the funeral home.  Moody Funeral Service of Mount Airy is serving the family.
