Viola Marie Bartley

Mrs. Viola Marie Collins Bartley, 88, of Lowgap, passed away at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, Sunday, July 12, 2020.  She was born in Randolph County, February 16, 1932 to the late Thomas and Lillie Johnson Collins.  Mrs. Bartley was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters and sons-in-law, Evelyn and David Butcher, Darlene Bartley, and Dawn and Craig Swinney; sons and daughters-in-law, Kelly Bartley, Maynard Bartley, and Marty and Martina Bartley; Carolyn Bartley; twenty grandchildren, forty-eight great-grandchildren; twenty-four great-great grandchildren; a special daughter-in-law, Glenda Mae Bartley; a brother and sisters-in-law, Harvey and Joyce Collins, and Treva Collins; brothers-in-law, Minor Lowe, and Ralph Dollyhigh; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bartley was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Robert Bartley; a son, Randy Bartley; daughter-in-law, Linda Bartley; sisters, Hazel Newman, Pauline Dollyhigh, Helen Hale, and Virginia Lowe; brothers Raymond, Wilburn, and Joe Bill Collins.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Holder, Rev. Joe Atkins and Rev. Bill Spurlin officiating.  Burial will follow at Fishers Gap Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Fairview Baptist Church Thursday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.  Anyone is welcome to pay their respect to Mrs. Bartley at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
