Virginia Kendrick Clark

Mrs. Virginia Kendrick Clark, age 91 of Patrick Springs, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at her home. She was born in Patrick County on November 22, 1929 to the late Edgar Kendrick and Trudy Adams Kendrick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Allen Clark; a son, George Thomas “G.T.” Clark; two sisters, Louise Deal, Oneida Edwards; five brothers, Levi, Dewey, Paul, Curtis and Otha Kendrick: and a son-in-law, Robert Danny Branch. Mrs. Clark loved cooking and reading her bible.

Surviving is a daughter, Linda Faye Branch of Patrick Springs; a son, Stewart Clark (Becky Odell) of Patrick Springs; four grandchildren, Paula Stone (Carl), Lisa Clark, Jon Clark (Christi), Jayme Clark (Breanna); nine great grandchildren; one sister, Angie Huffman (Lawrence) of Patrick Springs; one brother, Wayne Kendrick (Dessa) of Patrick Springs; a sister-in-law, Eleanor Kendrick of Bassett; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Countyline Church of God of Prophecy cemetery with Pastor Tom Warren officiating. She will lie in state at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 1 PM to 5 PM.
