Virginia Jean Fultz

Mrs. Virginia Jean Stiuso Fultz, 88, of Mount Airy, passed away early Friday morning, May 18, 2018, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  Mrs. Fultz was born January 18, 1930, in Newark, New Jersey.  She is survived by four daughters, Wanda Hawks and husband Rodney, Vivian Patterson, Mary Fultz, and Sandra Fultz; four sons and a daughter-in-law, Tommy and Barbara Fultz, John Robert Fultz and wife Cindy, Dennis Fultz, and Matthew Fultz; 9 grandchildren, Brandy Simmons, Amanda Hawks, Shannon Dollyhite, Loretta Bessant, Linda Loman, Anna Crawford, David Patterson, Alicia Combs, and Jeremy Fultz; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fultz was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harden Fultz; a granddaughter, Misty Rae Fultz; a grandson, Kevin Andrew Fultz; one sister, Sally Quinn; and three brothers, Al, Benny, and Lindy Stiuso.  The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 2pm at Holy Cross Baptist Church, with the Rev. Butch Holder officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Friday, May 25, 2018 from 6-8pm at Holy Cross Baptist Church.  Memorial donations may be made to Moody Funeral Home, PO Box 1288, Mount Airy, NC 27030 to assist the family with final expenses.
