Virginia Inez Glenn

Ms. Virginia Inez Glenn, age 72, of Stuart, Virginia went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at SOVAH Hospital in Martinsville. She was born in Patrick County on May 11, 1950, to the late Georgia Anna Glenn Barnwell. In addition to her mother, Virginia was preceded in death by one sister, Lou Della Smith; one brother, Joey Barnwell; and one nephew, Rodney Penn. Virginia was a longtime member of True Gospel Holiness Church. She was a loving, caring mother of many whom she loved so much. Virginia never met a stranger and was a precious friend to everyone she met. Ms. Glenn was a longtime resident of the Blue Ridge Nursing Center and absolutely loved being there during her stay. Virginia will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish the memory of Ms. Glenn are one daughter, Pauline Margaret Spencer of Stuart, Virginia; three sisters, Lois Koger (Michael) of Bassett, Virginia, Shirley Shuler of Patrick Springs, Virginia, Rebecca Barnwell of Rochester, New York; and a host of special nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Ms. Virginia Glenn will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at True Gospel Holiness Church (located at 2931 Spencer-Preston Road, Martinsville, VA 24112) with Pastor Leander Reynolds officiating. The burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery. A wake will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Wednesday afternoon.
