Virginia McBride Hall

Mrs. Virginia McBride Hall, 86, of 300 Blue Ridge Street, Martinsville, VA, formerly of Bassett, VA, passed away Friday, May 1, 2009, at Blue Ridge Rehab Center in Martinsville, VA. Mrs. Hall was born June 6, 1922, in Surry County, to the late William Frank and Elizabeth McMillian McBride. She was a retired beautician. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Pam Hall of Bassett, VA; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Hall of Martinsville, VA; three grandchildren and their spouses, Courtney and Chris Lippencott of Roanoke, VA, Kelly and Ross Fulcher of Rocky Mount, VA, and Taylor Hall of Bassett, VA; and two great-grandchildren, McKenzie Lippencott of Roanoke, VA, and Madison Fulcher of Rocky Mount, VA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband, James Madison Hall; a son, Jimmie R. Hall; a sister, Lillian Marie Snoddy; and two brothers, William Kesley McBride and Robert Franklin McBride. The funeral service will be heldd Sunday, May 3, 2009, at 4:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Garland Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
