Virginia Alma Jones

Miss Virginia Alma Jones, 82, of Mount Airy, passed away Saturday afternoon, August 13, 2022, at Twelve Oaks Assisted Living Facility.  Miss Jones was born October 1, 1939, in Stokes County, the daughter of the late Maggie Jones.  She is survived by her friends from Twelve Oaks Assisted Living Facility.  In addition to her mother, Miss Jones was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas Sanders and Dorothy East Jones; and her foster mother, Emma Wilson.  A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 11:30 AM at The Peoples Church Cemetery.  No formal visitation will be held.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
