Virginia Frances Jenkins Mills

Mrs. Virginia Frances "Cindy" Jenkins Mills, 66, of 862 North Franklin Road, Mount Airy, passed away Monday, January 18, 2010, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born July 28, 1943, in Forsyth County, to the late Leve James and Clara Whicker Jenkins. Cindy was a homemaker and a member of Imogene Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Robert Mills of the home; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Calvin Lee Pritchard and Tonya of Winston-Salem, Lewis E. Pritchard, Jr. and Belinda of Walnut Cove, and Richard Dale Mills of Germanton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Aby Jones and Derrick of Pfafftown and Beverly Bobst and Thomas of Lowgap; thirteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth James Jenkins. The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 21, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Imogene Baptist Church, with Brother Don Collins and the Rev. Ken Amen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Imogene Baptist Church, where her body will remain until the hour of the funeral service.
