Vivian Grey Puckett Montgomery

Mrs. Vivian Grey Puckett Montgomery, 76, of Roanoke, VA, passed away Monday, December 31, 2007, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Montgomery was born September 13, 1931, in Carroll County, VA, to Serle and Glenice Marshall Puckett. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Floyd Alton Montgomery of the home; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Kim and Chuck Bary of Floyd, VA, and Wanda Montgomery and Sharon and Robert Evans, all of Roanoke, VA; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael Montgomery and Alan and Theresa Montgomery, all of Roanoke, VA; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Lola Mae and Hoover Coleson and Mildred Ann Marshall, all of Mount Airy, Ala Deane and Donald Bowman of Laurel Fork, VA, and Peggy Kimble of Fredericksburg, VA; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Leon and Rachel Puckett of Mount Airy and Elmore and Sharon Puckett of Laurel Fork, VA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Montgomery was preceded in death by a son, James Alton Montgomery. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 4, 2008, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, conducted by the Rev. Rayton Puckett. Burial will follow in the Montgomery Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
