Wade Daniel Collins

Mr. Wade Daniel Collins, 63, of Raleigh, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2007, in Raleigh. Mr. Collins was born September 3, 1943, in West Virginia, to Raymond Wade and Arlie Ludell Gentry Collins. He served our country in the United States Army and was retired. Surviving are a stepdaughter, Rhonda Harrison of Mount Airy; a sister and brother-in-law, Celatha and Porter H. Smith of Mount Airy; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Jo Ann Collins of Mount Airy; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Sunday, January 7, 2007, at 3:00 PM at Liberty Union Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Chris Oakley, and burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service at the church. Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy is serving the Collins family.
