Wanda Money Cook

Mrs. Wanda Money Cook, age 67, of Dobson, NC passed away on Saturday July 15, 2023, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem NC surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Surry County on March 4, 1956, to the late Finley Bryd Money and the late Ada Ellen Johnson Money.  She was retired from Tultex, a member of Cross Road Missionary Baptist Church. She was an avid Tarheel basketball fan! She loved and missed her late husband Terry, whom she has joined in Heaven. She also loved God and her children very much! In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Terry Franklin Cook, a brother -in- law Gary Cook, and a brother-in-law Joey Gilley. Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Tara and Johnny Hazelwood; son and daughter-in-law, Bradley Franklin and Randi Shea Cook; granddaughter, Jade and Addi Hazelwood; sisters, Brenda Money, Janet Gilley; brother and sister-in-law, William and Becky Money; nieces, Lindsay and Cole Phillips, Stephanie Money, Julie Gilley and Cody Myers; nephew, Michael and Laura Lawyer.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Cross Road Missionary Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.  Rev. Jeff Wall will officiate the services.  The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association P.O.
