Wanda Evon Leftwich Draughn

Ms. Wanda Evon Leftwich Draughn, age 75 passed away at her home Wednesday, June 4, 2008. Ms. Draughn was born in Carroll County, VA, October 14, 1932 to the late Arnold Leftwich, Sr. and Elma Painter Leftwich. She was a faithful member of Mt. Airy First Pentecostal Holiness Church. She retired from Carroll County School System after almost 30 years of service. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Diane Draughn, Eugenia Bowman, Lynette Branch, Rhonda and Morris Goins and Cookie and Mike Boggs all of Mt. Airy; a son, A.R. Draughn of Cana, VA; grandchildren, Crystal Bowman, Kristina Wood, Kayla Kelley, Shawn Bowman, Michael Boggs; Andrea Isaacs, Brandon Goins, Adam Isaacs, great grandchildren, Christopher Butera, Destiny Butera, Kaitlyn Butera, Kelsey Kelley, Alyssa Spence Peyton Goins, Katherine Isaacs, Aidan Isaacs all of Mt. Airy; sisters and brothers-in-law, Eleanor Leftwich of Cana, Nelba and Raymond Dowell, Loreita Bennett, Juanita Montgomery, Mashel Leftwich, Joy Cannoy all of Mt. Airy; brothers and sisters-in-law, Berman and Shirley Leftwich, Clellan and Darlene Leftwich all of Cana, Jeffery Leftwich, Maynard Leftwich, A.W., Jr. and Betty Leftwich all of Mt. Airy; very special friends, Loma Lee Money and Mike and Linda Hiatt. In addition to her parents, Ms. Draughn was preceded in death by a son, Paul Draughn, Jr; two sisters, Michalene and Bernice Leftwich and a brother, J.C. Leftwich. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 6, 2008 at Mt. Airy First Pentecostal Holiness Church, by Rev. Tommy Vass, Rev. Albert Everidge and Rev. Tony Goins. Burial will follow in the Leftwich Family Cemetery in Cana,VA. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
