Mrs. Wanda “Nana” Gail Collins Gravley, 78 of Mount Airy passed away, Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at her home. Mrs. Gravley was born in Wythe County, Virginia on March 25, 1942, to the late Alexander Robinson and Mary Alice Doss Collins. Mrs. Gravley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all that knew her. She will be deeply missed by all. Nana was an active member of the Disabled American Veterans, Mount Airy Chapter. She spent many years as a certified nursing assistant as well as a care giver to all. Left to cherish her memories is her son, Michael Shannon Gravley; grandchildren, Brittani Jade Gravley, Bryson Drake Gravley; great-grandchildren Dakota Blake Gravley, Breyden Isaiah Gravley, Bayleigh Marie Roach, two living brothers, a special niece and spouse Patricia Gail Saldivar and Rafael, mother of her grandson, Bryson, Lisa Schonknecht; and special friends, Roger and Michelle Gravely. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gravley was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Foster Gravley, a son Raymond “Tinker” David Gravley, one sister, Nina Collins Parks, three brothers, special friend, Jesse “Billy” Wells. No formal services will be held at this time.
