Wanda Lee (Seeley) Kirkman

Mrs. Wanda Lee Seeley Kirkman, age 71 of Mount Airy passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Pelican Health in Reidsville, North Carolina, surrounded by her loving family.  Mrs. Kirkman was born on January 29, 1951, in Forsyth County to the late Edgar Harvey and Florence Inez Ring Seeley. Wanda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Gurney Eugene “Gene” Kirkman; three sons, David Wayne Newsome, Gary Kirkman, Benny Kirkman; daughter-in-law, Michelle Kirkman; three grandchildren, Kopeland Kirkman, Korbyn Kirkman, Ashley Newsome; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Janie Seeley Scott and Floyd, Betty Sue Seeley Day, Carolyn Seeley Jessup; along with several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kirkman was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Ray Newsome.  No formal services will be held at this time.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
