Wanda Gail (Davis) Tucker

Mrs. Wanda Gail Davis Tucker, age 67 of Mount Airy, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Novant Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Tucker was born on August10, 1957, in Guilford County to David and Billie Hill Davis. Mrs. Tucker was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving is her, son, Bryan Neil Tucker; three grandchildren, Anna Gail Tucker, Garrett Lee Tucker, Sena Davis; two sisters, Karen Davis Smith, Kathy Davis; brothers, Kenny Davis, Ronnie Davis, Joe Davis; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Smith; along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her husband, Alvis Lee Tucker; a son Scottie Lee Tucker; a brother, Dennis Davis, and a sister-in-law, Judy Tucker. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM at True Vine Baptist Church in Mount Airy with Reverend Rawley “Dink” Haynes, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at True Vine Baptist Church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
