Warren Ray Alberty

Mr. Warren Ray Alberty, age 81, of Dobson, NC passed away on Sunday January 1, 2023, at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.  He was born in Surry County on September 5, 1941, to the late Warren Festus Alberty and the late Mary Viola Johnson Alberty; in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Iva Stinson.  He was a member of the Dobson United Methodist Church.  Surviving is his wife, Glenda Martin Alberty; daughter Cheryl Alberty; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Laurel Alberty; grandson, Walker Alberty.  A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday January 6, 2023, in the cemetery of Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.  Rev. Harry Sammons will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson NC 27017  The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson, NC, on Friday January 6, 2023, from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM.
