Warren Peter Eck

Mr. Warren Peter Eck, 72, of Lowgap, passed away Monday, August 9, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Eck was born August 6, 1949, in Morristown, NJ, to the late Warren Harding and Ruth Ann Yeskoo Eck. He was a kind-hearted person who cared for the needs of every individual. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and a sinner saved by God’s grace. He was a licensed architect and was a member of Bannertown Baptist Church, where he served on the finance committee and taught many classes. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Shirley Kay McDuffie Eck; two daughters and sons-in-law, Katie and Armando Aguiar and Amanda and Graham Prince; three grandchildren, Gwennie Aguiar, Marcus Aguiar, and Chloe Prince; a brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Gordon and Nancy Eck; and seven nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Friday, August 13, 2021, at 7:00 PM at Bannertown Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mickey Cogdill officiating. A copy of the service will be posted on Kay Eck’s Facebook page. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to International Partnership Ministries, Inc., 100 Spring Avenue, Hanover, PA 17331-2717.
