Warren Foltz

Mr. Warren Foltz, age 72 of Mt. Airy, husband of Doris Slagle Foltz, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2007 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mr. Foltz was born in Alleghany, PA, December 9, 1934 to William and Anna Foltz. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Surviving are his wife, Doris Ellen Slagle Foltz of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Tom Standley of Kalispell, MT; Tammy and Rev. Richard Weagraff of Mt. Airy; three sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Cathy Foltz of Palm Harbor, FL; Eric and Belinda Foltz of Spartansburg, PA; Ken and Sue Foltz of Wilmington, NC; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruth and Clay Beck of Albuquerque, NM; Vivian Grable of Centerville, PA; Ted Donor also of Centerville; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter and Alice Foltz of Centerville; Don and Pat Foltz of Lincolnville, PA; Sandy Foltz of Union City, PA; and Lorraine Foltz of Centerville, PA. In addition to his parents, Mr. Foltz was preceded in death by sisters, Charlotte Donor, and Naomi Sexton and brothers, Dan Foltz, and Robert Foltz. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 22, 2007 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Rev. Richard Weagraff. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held in Centerville, PA on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Centerville United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Centerville Little League Baseball at 20376 Fish Flats Rd., Spartansburg, PA 16434 or to Remnant Ministries at 345 Airport Rd., Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
