Wayne Richard Potts

Mr. Wayne Richard Potts age 55 of 416 Junction Street, Mount Airy, husband of Pansy Christine Jones Potts, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Potts was born in Surry County to Betty Viola Doss Potts and the late Glenn Richard Potts, Sr. Surviving are his wife, Pansy Christine Jones Potts of the home; two sons and daughter-in-law, Jody and Dawn Potts and Lewis Potts all of Mount Airy; eight grandchildren; his mother, Betty Viola Doss Potts of Mount Airy; three brothers and sister-in-law, Gary Dean Potts and Kenneth Ray and Darlene Potts all of Mount Airy and Glenn Richard Potts, Jr. of King and a special friend, Jay Hensley of Mount Airy. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Pine Ridge Baptist Church at 2:00 PM. The service will be conducted by Rev. Johnny Johnson with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Pine Ridge Baptist Church on Friday night from 7:00 to 9:00 PM where his body will remain until time for the service.
