Wayne "Wild Bull" Puckett

Mr. Wayne “Wild Bull” Puckett, age 62, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at his home.  He was born in Surry County on April 9, 1960, to the late Claude “Bud” and Connie Taylor Puckett.  Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 35 years; Sharon Davis Puckett; grandchild, Zander Hawks; brother, Bruce Puckett; several special nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Puckett was preceded in death by sisters, Deborah Jones, Elizabeth Puckett, and Audrey Puckett; brothers, Wade Taylor, and Dennis Puckett.  A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Blue Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with service conducted by Rev. Woody Flippen and Chaplin Ricky Wetzen.  The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 AM on Sunday December 18, 2022, at the family home, 127 High Noon Trail, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
