Wendy Gail Emond Scott

Ms. Wendy Gail Emond Scott, 68, of Mount Airy, passed away early Thursday morning, November 10, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  Ms. Scott was born September 20, 1954, in Muskegon County, MI, the daughter of the late Edward and Virginia “Ginnie” Mosher Emond.  Wendy worked as a home health aide for many years.  She was the jack-of-all-trades and could fix most anything that was broken.  Wendy enjoyed spending time with her family, being in the great outdoors, and crafting, along with possessing an adventurous spirit.  She is survived by a daughter, Sara June Scott of Dobson; a grandson and best friend, Jaxton Alan Dowell of Dobson; a cherished granddaughter, Lila Wendy Dowell of Dobson; and many friends.  In addition to her parents, Ms. Scott was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Emond Johnson.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
