Wilburn Otis "W.O" Webb, Jr.

Mr. Wilburn Otis Webb, Jr., age 77, of Mt. Airy, passed away Wednesday, October 03, 2018, at his home.  Mr. Webb was born in Carroll County on November 3, 1940, to Wilburn Otis Webb, Sr. and Pearl Easter Webb.  He was a loving father, grandfather and dear friend to so many.  Among the many to always cherish his memory is a daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Darrell Nichols; sons and a daughter-in-law, Rodney and Whitney Webb and Richard Webb; eight grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Jack Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Webb was preceded in death by sisters, Marie Venable, Annie Jones, and Alice Willis; and by a brother, Jack Easter.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00, Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Moody Funeral Home by Elder David Kamoda and Elder Jimmy Joyce.  Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 6:00 to 8:00.
