Wiley Junior Holt

Mr. Wiley Junior Holt, age 66 of Mt. Airy passed away Sunday, December 30, 2007 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mr. Holt was born in Patrick County, VA August 9, 1941 to the late Oscar and Susie Holt. He was retired from Mountain Lumber Skid and Pallet. Mr. Holt is survived by his wife, Jennie Holt of the home; a daughter Wendy Bean and friend, David Sawyers of Mt. Airy; sons, Jerry Jones and friend Barbara Beck of Mt. Airy, Thomas Holt of Mt. Airy, Chad Holt and wife Sharon of King; grandchildren, Jennifer Holt, William Jurney, Brittany Jones, Kimberly Holt, Josh Jurney, Jordan Jones, "Peanut" Holt; great grandchildren, Katherine Isaacs, Aidan Isaacs; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ernest and Rhonda Holt of Cana, VA, Rodger and Janette Holt of Cana, Ronald and Mary Holt of Pinnacle, Wayne and Wanda Holt of Cana; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ester and Ray Martin of Pfafftown, Mae Whitt of Mt. Airy, Alice and Johnny Hawks of Dobson, Betty Corns of Mt. Airy and Sally and Archie Beverly of Mt. Airy. In addition to his parents Mr. Holt was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Marion and a brother David "Bill" Holt. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 2, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy by Rev. Tommy Vass with burial to follow in Zion Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home.
