Wiley Martin "Booker" King, Jr

Mr. Wiley Martin "Booker" King, Jr. age 80 of Winston-Salem, NC formerly of Ararat, VA passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012. He was born May 12, 1932 in Patrick County, VA to the late Wiley Martin King, Sr. and Lois May Epperson King. He was a retired saw miller and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Ada May King Knight and Jerry, Winston-Salem, a brother and sister-in-law, Wiley Mayford King and Louise, Winston-Salem, NC, several special nieces and nephews, several special great nieces and nephews and several special great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. King was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Susie Frye. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Moody Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Dwight Sechrist. Burial will follow in the King Family Cemetery in Ararat, VA. The family will receive friends 1:00 pm Wednesday until time of the service at Moody Funeral Home Chapel.
